We all want to achieve more, become a better version of ourselves, and enhance our lives.
Firstly, when setting personal growth goals, it is nice to first take a good look at where you presently stand in life.
Maybe you have done fairly well in one aspect of your life than another or maybe you haven’t done well at all, and that is completely okay. Making an honest assessment of where we stand can help us be clearer about what is lacking in our lives and what improvements are needed.
Listed below are 10 personal growth goals that you can make for a better life in 2021 –
A good place to start your development goals is to improve your physical health and fitness.
You don’t need to start hitting the gym right off the bat and begin pulling weights 6 days a week until you displace your shoulder. Take it one day at a time and build from there. If you are not comfortable going to the gym, you can go for a walk or a run. Sleep is also a major contributing factor in our mental and physical well-being.♀️
The key is to not be miserable in trying to achieve perfection. Start small and make sure whatever you do, you don’t end up sacrificing your happiness by trying too hard.

We are all scared of something and it limits us.
Fear holds us back in our lives to the point that we end up settling for less. You have to understand that fear is not real. It is just a product of your imagination.
Think about the worst that could happen. The excuses you are going to give yourself for not trying something new are superficial. They are not facts.
So, make it a goal to get unstuck from your fears. You will realize the only thing holding you back is that 3-pound blob resting in the back of your forehead.

How To Become The Best Version Of Yourself
How many times have you started a project just to end up abandoning it a few days later? You got too excited and then it just wore off or you got distracted by something else.
Been there, done that.
To be successful in anything, you have to be consistent. People end up overwhelming themselves by taking up too much under their belt which then leads to them abandoning the goal altogether.
If you try to do everything at once, you are setting yourself up for failure. Starting out small can help you stick to an act long enough for it to become a habit. Begin with one thing at a time and do it daily. Don’t let yourself get discouraged if you miss a day.
Tomorrow is another day and another opportunity to start all over again.

Everyone Has A Day One
One of the simplest ways you can make yourself happy is to make others happy.
Realize that not everyone is as lucky as you are. Using your resources to serve those in need not only provides them with happiness but fills you up with joy, too. It helps you make better connections and gives you a sense of community.
Giving does not necessarily have to be about money. It could be as simple as smiling at someone or saying kind words. Your time is valuable and giving a chunk of it, no matter how little, in the service of another human being can be gratifying.
Whether you like it or not, everyone has an opinion. Acknowledging your own biases and moving beyond your personal worldview’s to try to understand those held by other people is one of the biggest steps you can take towards your mental peace.
Everyone’s life consists of differing experiences and not everyone is going to perceive the world in the same way that you do.
Allow yourself to view the world from other people’s perspectives and you will find that you end up learning a lot more about your own as well.
It is okay to feel guilty sometimes. But self-blame can only take us so far.
A big part of personal growth is allowing ourselves to make mistakes and make room for forgiveness. Along with becoming empathetic towards others, learn to be sympathetic with yourself as well. The time you spend thinking what “should have been” could be better utilized in learning from your errors.
This is not to say that you should not take responsibility for your actions, but you should do so without dwelling on the negatives. It is better to make a mistake, learn from it, amend it and move on instead of not trying anything new at all.
